History of the Business Lorina's husband started her with an herb garden kit.
After some time, she was growing more than 150 varieties of
herbs, flowers, veggies, and hummingbird and butterfly plants. Her familly has generations of experience
in farming. All that time growing up "in the dirt" paved the way to
all kinds of discoveries. (So she grew every kind of herb she could
get her hands on!) Lorina's Great Grandma Hughes would share
with her the bounties of growing veggies, fruit and all that the
garden would share. What wonderful memories!! Picking peaches,
planting walnut trees and digging out all those terrible weeds!
After a long hard day workin' on the farm nothing is better than
Grandma's canned peaches. Yum! Lorina's goal would be to share with
others what she so enjoyed. Plant a little garden with your child,
or bring your Grandma a little herb garden that you planted. Maybe,
get involved in your community garden, just get dirt under your
nails! Even if it is just one little pot, it is healthy to watch
the miracle of life right in front of you! You can't help but to be
joyful when you can get to taste what you have grown! |
